Article I — Name
The organization shall be known as the Catholic School Chaplains of Ontario (CSCO) / Les Aumôniers des Écoles Catholiques de l’Ontario.
Article II — Purpose
The purpose of CSCO is to:
- Support and promote the professional development of Chaplaincy Leaders in Ontario Catholic schools
- Advocate for the role and importance of chaplaincy in Catholic education
- Foster collaboration and community among chaplains across the province
- Liaise with Catholic education organizations and the broader Church
Article III — Membership
Membership is open to all currently employed Chaplaincy Leaders in Ontario Catholic school boards. Associate membership is available to those who have previously served as Chaplaincy Leaders, clergy, and other supporters of Catholic school chaplaincy.
Article IV — Executive
The CSCO Executive consists of: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Communications Officer, and Immediate Past President. Executive members are elected at the Annual General Meeting for a two-year term.
Article V — Annual General Meeting
CSCO holds an Annual General Meeting each year, typically in conjunction with the Annual CSCO Conference. All members in good standing are eligible to vote.
